We currently have an exciting opportunity for experienced Educational Counsellors to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. This role is vital to our core business success. We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable professionals who can expertly counsel prospective international students on their study options, application processes, and pathways to education in Australia.

We began our business journey as a dedicated education consultancy and placement firm, successfully catering to thousands of international students. Our services have since expanded to include Recruitment, Trading, Tourism, and Training, with offices in Australia and Bhutan.
Educational Counsellors are the backbone of our business, acting as the first point of contact for future students. You will be responsible for providing accurate, ethical, and timely advice regarding Australian education providers, courses, and the application process, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and codes.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive counselling sessions with prospective students and parents/guardians regarding study options (Schools, VET, ELICOS, Higher Education) in Australia.
- Provide up-to-date and accurate information on Australian education system entry requirements, course selection, institution application procedures, and related student visa requirements (Subclass 500).
- Assist students with the complete application process, including submitting documents, Statement of Purpose (SOP) guidance, and following up with educational institutions.
- Achieve enrolment and conversion targets as set by the management, contributing directly to the business growth.
- Liaise effectively with Australian educational institutions (universities, colleges, schools) to confirm admissions, maintain agency agreements, and stay informed on new courses and policies.
- Ensure all advice and documentation adhere to the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act and the National Code of Practice.
- Guide students through the Offer Letter and Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) process and provide essential pre-departure information.
- Actively participate in education expos, seminars, and marketing activities to recruit new students.
- Maintain accurate client and application records in the company’s CRM system.
- Build a strong referral pipeline and increase client retention by ensuring excellent service and encouraging positive feedback/reviews.

Qualifications
- Graduate in Education, Business, International Relations, or a related field (essential).
- QEAC (Qualified Education Agent Counsellor) certification is highly desirable or must be obtained within the first 3 months of employment.
Skills and Experience
- 2+ years’ experience working as an Educational Counsellor/Consultant in the international student recruitment industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Australian education providers, courses, and the application process.
- Familiarity with the Australian Education International (AEI) – CRICOS registration system.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills; fluency in an additional relevant language (e.g., Hindi, Nepali, Chinese, etc.) is a significant advantage.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) skills.

- Be proactive in continuously updating knowledge on new courses, institutions, and changes in student visa policies.
